The holiday weekend is here, but instead of sunny skies and outdoor plans, it’s looking cold and wet—especially here in Connecticut, where the rain just keeps coming.
Lately, I’ve been on the hunt for a stylish raincoat with a hood. Sounds easy enough, right? But every coat I find is either too boxy, too sporty, or—oddly enough—not even water-resistant.
Why the hood? Because I don’t always want to carry an umbrella. Sure, it’s great in the car, but walking around the city, popping in and out of shops? It gets annoying fast. A hood makes things so much easier.
