I had a frustrating experience the other day while I was in the city.
On my way home, I suddenly got a horrible headache.
I didn’t have any Advil with me because I usually keep it in my bag, but I had taken it out at some point and forgotten to put it back in.
I always remind myself to keep essential items in my bag, but somehow, they always end up on my desk or in my pocket, and I forget to put them back in.
This happens because I switch between different bags; sometimes, they can only carry some of my stuff. I’ve been trying to find one bag that works all the time, but I need different bags for different occasions.
Sometimes, I want a crossbody bag when I am walking around all day and enjoy having my hands free, but many crossbody bags are small and limit the items you can carry. I prefer everyday shoulder bags and found the perfect one last year, but now I would like to find it in more colors.
I have many preferences when I pick out my bag, such as the ease of opening it and getting my wallet out of the little compartments to keep my keys and phone for easy access.
There are many styles of bags, but they are only sometimes practical. In addition, it can be frustrating to find a tote bag with lots of space, a zipper, and the color you prefer.
One day, I asked myself why I was limiting myself to finding the perfect bag and allowing myself to have multiple bags.
The answer is that I don’t enjoy changing out the bags, but it’s a new habit that I must get used to.
What are your biggest concerns when you’re looking for a bag?
PS I’m in love with the bags in the photo below, especially the first one.
