Last Saturday, I organized a unique event for the Advance New York City chapter: a scavenger hunt at Hudson Yards. This was a special opportunity to observe how fashion and food businesses were serving clients in this popular shopping area in NYC. One of the participants, Nicole, mentioned a collaboration between Heinz Ketchup and Kate Spade.
I decided to visit the Kate Spade store to check out the partnership.
I was surprised to find the Heinz Ketchup logo incorporated into their popular best-selling totes, and they had also enlarged the ketchup pouch into a crossbody bag, as shown in the picture below. The display was coordinated with bright reds and pinks, aligning with the promotional campaign.
This collaboration highlighted the value of taking chances and exploring unique combinations in the business world. It is intriguing to see how trying something new can lead to unexpected success.
