This week’s video is inspired by my own wallet story. I’ve been on the hunt for a new wallet for long time now and it finally came to an end this past week in a very unexpected way.
I have been looking for a particular style, one that has one opening with access to my cash, credit cards and change. My previous wallet always frustrated me with two zipper compartments that I would always mix up when I was opening my wallet!
Every once in a while I would come across wallets that I liked but for one reason or another it just wasn’t a perfect fit. Until last month when I was in NYC with some friends that I spotted a wallet I loved in a shop I had never been in before. It was the magical color, shape, size, and the style that I had been looking for. It was exactly perfect! The price tag was high but not too high, but it wasn’t in my budget for right now. So, I decided that I would wait and trust that the extra cash would show up.
Less than a month later and I get a phone call from my neighbor saying there’s package for me downstairs. A little surprised since I didn’t order anything, I eagerly went to get the package. I opened it up to find my beautiful wallet from Ted Baker!
I was in awe, wow! Who? How? I learned that my dear friend, and the only person I shared my wallet story with, had sent me a thank you gift for all the help I have given her. Wow, the best gifts are the unexpected ones!
What I took away from this experience was that it is worth the wait to find what you really love and that works for you. And that if you focus on the cost or purchase something you can’t afford, it puts you in the path of resistance. Just trust that the money will show up or as in my case, maybe it will be gifted to you!

I was initially leery about Feng Shui until a friend swore things changed after reading Lillian Too’s Living with Good Feng Shui book and applying it into her day-to-day life. Googled it and found a copy from Noon Books (www.noon-books.com). I thoroughly enjoyed reading it, applying it and waiting for positive results. I swear life seems to just “flow” now instead of just “chug along” if you know what I mean. Money comes in from unexpected sources and relationships seem to require no effort.
