Give up the struggle rather than the goal.
After working on the project for several hours, I finished copying and pasting the new material into the file. And then, just as I was going to delete the upgraded copy, a blue screen appeared and my computer crashed!
I sat there in astonishment for a brief while that my work had been lost, but I remained hopeful and attempted to restore my files, but they did not. At that point, I understood it was time to let move on.
I got up and went about my business, content that everything was well. I put on my new red lipstick to lift my mood and focus on other enjoyable things.
A fresh idea struck me about an hour later. It was so good that I sat and journaled about my new vision, and everything was falling into place.
It’s true that when a problem arises, so does the solution, yet we are often too caught up in the problem and we block the new ideas.
Making peace with the file’s loss, moving on with my day, and increasing my energy with fresh red lipstick enabled me to be receptive to the solution.
Are you prepared to let go of the old solution and accept the new one?
