Just as the “chi” in your home matters so does the “chi” in your body. What do you do when you are one of those sensitive bodies who just can’t tolerate wheat, gluten, sugar, or alcohol? You find it challenging to go out to dinner, party foods become a frustration and you feel like the odd one out. Here’s the good news, you are not the odd gal, nope you are simply in-tune to your body and your body is clearly sending you messages that you are eating the wrong foods. How wild is that! Your body can tell you right on the spot what it likes and doesn’t like FOR FREE! Yes, imagine that, free! No doctors and no co-pay!

Since my teens I’ve struggled with digestive issues. Frustrated and confused I had to research my own diets to help me eat right and feel good. No, it’s never been a weight issue for me rather figuring out why I would eat food and be sick an hour after the meal. My years of research finally landed me on a diet that truly works for me.  It is The Blood Type Diet, by Dr. Peter J. D’Adamo.  As an O blood type my diet is more focused on protein and vegetables and avoiding wheat and sugar. Eating lean protein and meat is like medicine food for my body. I can literally feel the difference when I skimp on the meat and protein or eat wheat or sugars.  My digestive system begins to act up and my “chi” becomes depleted.

Fast forward a few years later and I now have a custom personalized diet that I have created for myself.  It took a lot of work but I feel better than ever and the best part is that I can even enjoy my sweets!

You know sugar wreaks havoc on the digestive track and is one of the many reasons for health issues like weight gain, diabetes, IBS, horomonal issues, etc.  As an O type sugar is not ideal for me, but that doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy my desserts! I have figured out how to enjoy sweets without hurting my body and I want to share it with you.

I want to share some of my fabulous recipes for quick and simple sweets.  All you need is your local Trader Joe’s (my favorite). Oh and don’t worry, my family and friends love these desserts too! Yep, wheat and gluten free desserts can be yummy, you just need know how to make them. And these recipes don’t have all those hard to find ingredients.

But before we get to my desserts, let me share one little secret.  Yes, I have a secret supplement for those days when you just can’t eat perfectly, when you may want to indulge just a teensy bit.  This secret supplement will help you maintain good “chi” in your body. I use this when I choose to eat one of the foods on my “avoid” list.

This supplement helps O blood type eat wheat once in awhile, A blood type to eat meat once in a while, B blood type to eat chicken once in a while and an AB blood type to eat meat or chicken.

It’s called Deflect and what it does is scrub your cells of all the bad lectins you digest when you eat the wrong foods for your blood type. So, when an O blood type eats wheat the lectin adheres to their cells causing agglutination. When cells agglutinate they clump together and cause inflammation, bloating, weight gain and hormonal issues. When you use Deflect it will go right to work on scrubbing away the lectin minimizing the lectin damage. Deflect has been a big help in cleaning up my digestive and horomonal issues. In the beginning I used it daily to clean up all the damage from years of eating the wrong foods, but now I use it when ever I go out and know I will have some of my “avoid” foods. One side note, this doesn’t mean you can continue to eat bad foods and just take Deflect. Your body needs your medicine foods, food has energy good or bad. You need to be filling up with 90% of the good. Don’t aim for 100% you will just go mad!

There is a Deflect design for each of your blood type, If you don’t know your blood type you can order a blood typing kit and get the results in 5 minutes. And if you want to learn more about Deflect click here and enter Deflect in the search bar.

If you have questions about the diet please leave a comment below, as I’m well educated in the Blood Type Diet and help many friends and family on the diet. I even helped my friend Mindy get pregnant using Feng Shui and the diet!
