Making room for the new you

How many times have you had the desire to change your wardrobe?

You buy a new outfit or two, but that’s as far as you go with your new look.

It feels frustrating entering your closet and planning your outfit for the day.

You know it’s time to organize your wardrobe and discard the items that don’t fit you anymore, but you don’t want to begin this emotional trip.

Decluttering takes a lot of work, but your closet is the hardest to sort through.

From the Feng Shui perspective, your closet represents your subconscious mind.

But on a deeper level, it’s the closet you engaged with the most in your home.

It’s emotional because deciding what to wear each day impacts the energy you feel that day.

Wearing clothes you find boring or unflattering will sap your energy.

You are confused about the new shoes you wore once because they bothered your feet so bad you ponder what to them.

Most people only wear 20% of their wardrobe.

Let me help you ease this stress with a 9-day challenge that will make you better about your wardrobe.

For the next 9 days (9 is a good luck number in Feng Shui), spend an extra 10 minutes in your closet; commit to removing 3- items you haven’t worn in a year or that don’t fit.

Create a bag for donations or to sell and add it to the bag. Each time you try on any piece of your wardrobe that doesn’t fit, place it in the bag.

If you do this, you will have released 27 items from your closet!

Now you’ve created space for the new you!

Let me hold you accountable to complete this exercise.

I will be cheering you on to accomplish this goal!
